Black and Golden Glass Bead-Silver Foiled Lampwork Bead
Glass Beads: Quantity 1 Color: Golden, Black, Silver Size: 15 x 10mm Shape: Donut, Rondelle Composition: Italian and Double Helix Glass, fine silver This gorgeous lampwork glass bead is lovingly handmade by me, Gillian Soskin, in my home glass studio using a black glass base, wrapped in pure silver (99.9%) foil, then encased in Double Helix Olympic Rain glass. The result is a beautiful gold colour. Be sure to click on the images to see them fully. The donut-shaped bead measure 15 x 10mm, and is made on a 3/32" mandrel. The bead hole is 2.4mm in diameter. My photos are taken indoors in a light box with natural lighting and a macro lens. The pictures have been enlarged so please check the size of the bead. I have not enhanced the colours with photo-editing but keep in mind monitors can show colours differently. All my beads go directly from the torch to kiln for controlled annealing. All beads are inspected for flaws and thoroughly cleaned for you. I am a self-representing glass artist (SRA # S107) which means that my beads are individually made, by me, and not mass produced. I am also a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers.
