Forest Spring Green and White Glass Beads - Handmade Lampwork Trio
This green lampwork glass bead trio is lovingly handmade by me, Gillian Soskin, in my home glass studio using recycled Bullseye multilayered sheet glass in transparent green and white for the focal bead and spacers. The focal oval-shaped glass bead measures 23 x 22 x 7mm, and the spacer beads are 12 x 6mm. They are made on 3/32" mandrels and the bead holes are 2.4mm in diameter. The subtle colors remind me of new spring shoots emerging from the ground. My photos are taken indoors in a light box with natural lighting. The pictures have been enlarged so please check the size of the beads. I have not enhanced the colours with photo-editing but keep in mind monitors can show colours differently. All my beads go directly from the torch to kiln for controlled annealing. All beads are inspected for flaws and thoroughly cleaned for you. I am a self-representing glass artist (SRA # S107) which means that my beads are individually made, by me, and not mass produced. I am also a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers.
