This lampwork glass focal bead is lovingly handmade by me, Gillian
Soskin, in my home glass studio using a clear base and blend of
amethyst, violet, pink, and a hint of spring green glass.
The lentil-shaped glass bead measures 20mm in diameter, and is made on a 3/32" mandrel. The bead hole is 2.4mm in diameter.
All
my glass beads go directly from the torch to kiln for controlled
annealing. All beads are inspected for flaws and thoroughly cleaned for
you. Any white spots are only from the camera and lights.
I am a
self-representing glass artist (SRA # S107) which means that my beads
are individually made, by me, and not mass produced. I am also a member
of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers. |
