Butter Pecan, Raku & Chestnut Swirled Glass Beads - Handmade Lampwork Pair

This gorgeous swirled lampwork glass bead pair is lovingly handmade by me, Gillian Soskin, in my home glass studio using a Butter Pecan base with Raku (Reichenbach Iris Orange) powder, and a blend of chestnut and coral glass frit swirled together. The Raku powder turns a gorgeous ocher-amber and reacts with the black to give beautiful hues in each swirl. The donut-shaped rondelle beads measure 14 x 8mm. They are made on 3/32" mandrels and the bead holes are 2.4mm in diameter. My photos are taken indoors in a light box with studio lighting. The pictures have been enlarged so please check the size of the beads. I have not enhanced the colours with photo-editing but keep in mind monitors can show colours differently. All my beads go directly from the torch to kiln for controlled annealing. All beads are inspected for flaws and thoroughly cleaned for you. I am a self-representing glass artist (SRA # S107) which means that my beads are individually made, by me, and not mass produced. I am also a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers.
